The overall goal of session is to introduce the principals, practice and activity of painting to students. This introduction will be implemented through a series of lesson plans of activities that include exposure to paintings and French artists such as Henri Matisse, Claude Monet, Henri Rousseau; classroom painting activities that support the influences of these painters; visual aids; introduction to and practice with painting materials and tools.

Aquarelle course for beginners includes four sessions with quality instructions, demonstrations and personal hands on painting. Students will explore the medium of watercolor paints. They will observe basic watercolor painting techniques (such as wet-on-wet, wet-on-dry, dry-on-dry and wash). Then students will experiment with these techniques on small squares of watercolor paper.
